"In NSW, It is illegal to ride a bike, eBike or eScooter on the footpath, unless you're under 16 years old or otherwise exempt"
If a food delivery rider needs to use the footpath to access the food retailer or delivery address, they must dismount and wheel the bike/eBike along the footpath.
The walkways around City Quarter are considered footpaths.
It has been observed that residents are also riding their bikes/eBikes within City Quarter and in some cases, near misses have been observed. Young children, pets and the elderly are at risk of being involved in an accident.
To avoid injury and accidents, please dismount from your bike within City Quarter
Share ride bikes should be left in areas that do not pose a risk to others, or are likely to fall over.
