With regards to installation of air conditioning units in apartments, terrace houses or retail lots,
an owner must not install any air conditioning system on common property (including installing the condenser on your balcony or terrace) without the approval of the Owner’s Corporation and the Community Association.

In general the proposed installation will be is approved if it follows the guidelines set out in the Community Management Statement, Architectural Code (Schedule 1) and your strata schemes by-laws.

Application must be sent to your Owners Corporation or Strata Manager and will be dealt with by your Strata Committee generally at their next meeting.
